Pricing FAQ
Why We Started Ball IQ
Ball IQ began with a simple observation: the kids who struggled most on the court rarely lacked ability. They lacked a coach willing to slow down, get to know them, and build their confidence one rep at a time.
That's the same reason our regular coaching happens in small groups instead of one-off private lessons. Kids push each other, cheer each other on, and build confidence faster next to teammates their own age than they do working alone — and our groups stay small enough that no one gets lost in the crowd.
Today, Ball IQ is a team of certified coaches committed to developing skills, confidence, discipline, and basketball IQ in kids ages 5–12 — and to helping that growth carry over into everything else they do.
Group Coaching, With Room for 1-on-1
Most Ball IQ athletes train in groups. Some need something more focused. Here's why we offer both.
Group Coaching
Every regular Ball IQ session is small-group coaching, capped so each athlete still gets real coach attention. Training next to other kids pushes athletes to compete a little harder and build confidence in front of peers — energy our coaches match every step of the way, bringing genuine enthusiasm and years of hands-on experience coaching kids ages 5–12 to every session. It's also how we keep quality coaching genuinely affordable for families, without cutting corners on instruction.
Individual Sessions
For families who want focused one-on-one time — tournament prep, a tune-up before tryouts, or extra reps on one specific skill — we're building out a dedicated Individual Sessions option. It's designed to complement group coaching, not replace it: a place to work through something specific with a coach's undivided attention when group training isn't quite enough.
